About me:

I'm a down to earth person with big goals. I'm an aspiring Producer/Director. I'm also a photographer and published music writer. I shoot music videos, documentaries and commercials. My nitch is shooting in-expensive videos for unsigned artist who don't have Diddy's budget or any budget at that.I also have a photography business Called "Just Shoot it photography and Shut Up and Shoot It Productions. Check out my newly directed and produced music video called "Alter Ego" By recording artist "Tha Gooch" A brief look into my career. I was born in Brooklyn NY, to two wonderful parents of Puerto Rican decent. My father who’s half Puertorican and Cruzan and my mother who was born and raised in Brooklyn N.Y. was always encouraging me to dance and act and to be myself. My mother a gospel singer has had a couple of concerts and recorded a gospel album before giving it all up to me a full time mother and spiritual leader. My father wanted me to experience the Island life and get me out of Brooklyn so I can be familiar with all my roots so he shipped us, me and my sister to St. Croix Virgin Island. Shortly, at the age of 12 my parents saw that I was a natural actor and had talents in me wanted so they decided to move us to Los Angeles, California where I went to high school and joined Drama and also where I fell in love with hip hop. I was did gymnastics and wrestled and became Los Angeles city champ in 1988-1989 and eventually team captain. I got a scholarship to attend Humboldt State University in California but opt to go to the army in 1989; I enter right out of high school. The army was great I was in an infantry unit in Erlangen Germany, after my tour I loved Germany so much that I went back to live for a year and to study the language, and this is where my career started. While living in Germany I was a dancer entering competition all over Germany considered one of the best hip-hop dancers I became a choreographer for "Sean Garret" A.K.A "The Pen" who’s now a world renowned hip-hop and R & B singer/producer/songwriter, eventually I became a member of his group called "3D" after touring Germany and opening up for acts like “Kriss Kross” and “Snap” it starting getting hard on me, I was missing home and family and not to mention the rice and beans I was craving for. I eventually left the group said goodbye to Garret and Nut and left Germany for Los Angeles where I started acting, I landed roles on 90210, As life goes on, HBO, Tales of the Crypt (as a dancer), New York Undercover and a 13 pilot series called “Shorts” one of the first reality shows being directed by Rico Martinez, now a head producer for VH1 and MTV. I and also had a cameo on the National Lampoon film called "Robo Doc" shot” in Orlando in which I was also an assistant to the editor. I eventually moved back to NYC to pursue Broadway, I could dance, and act but could not sing so Broadway was tough. One day as I was acting on a small independent film I met Abel Ferrara, the director of “King of New York” “The Bad Lieutenant” he told me if I wanted to make it in this business to that I had to “produce direct and star in my own films”, so a week later I decided to go to film school to be a director. I finally got my AS in Film production and started directing and producing small, low budget commercials, and several music videos. Now I’m writing screenplays and embarking shooting low budget films. I’m also a published writer and a photographer, writing for G.O.A.T. magazine and The JcConnect a PR company. At the moment I am working on a few film projects and continue to make a name for myself as the independent music/film director for the unsigned artist or actor. I’m looking to direct and produce my first independent film I wrote called “Paintings on the wall” as well as the Film called “Baggers” right now in pre-production, that will soon be released by the end of 2010.
