I cannot believe that Coachella is happening this weekend! I feel like I've been rehearsing for this one show for forever now. It's been a good ride so far with two new players in the band since we did Warped Tour last year. It was really exciting last week to have a professional musical director come into our rehearsals and polish the show. He really took out all of the guess work about timing throughout the 45 minute set. I've always tried to do it myself and to make sure this show really goes well I finally bit the bullet and got someone to come out! I've never actually been to Coachella before as a guest so I'm curious to even see what it looks like. I've heard it's just huge fields and people dancing and hanging out for miles. Everyone told me to bring my walking shoes. I'm also curious to see how hot it really is. As of this week it seems like I'll get lucky and have like mid eighties during the day and fifties at night. That's the kind of weather I can take! Mostly I'm just excited to get on a big stage in front of a lot of people I haven't performed for before! I'm also stoked to see Muse, MuteMath, Florence and the Machine, LCD Soundsystem, the Gorillaz, and a host of other bands. Anyone got any suggestions of who simply cannot be missed?
