    Namaste my sweet twin friends:)
You are a Blessing of Light, Love & Bliss to All! Thank You for Allways shareing your Light!:)
Your SisterBlue Star in Brightest Blessings to All Allways;)
You are just now, here, neither coming nor going.
Everything passes by you; your consciousness reflects
it but it does not get identified. When a lion roars
in front of a mirror, do you think the mirror roars?
Or when the lion is gone and a child comes dancing,
the mirror completely forgets about the lion and
starts dancing with the child--do you think the mirror
dances with the child? The mirror does nothing, it
simply reflects. Your consciousness is only a mirror.
Neither do you come, nor do you go. Things come and go.
You become young, you become old; you are alive, you
are dead. All these states are simply reflections
in an eternal pool of consciousness.

"The whole world belongs to you. But man identifies himself with his profession, religion, culture, nationality, language, region or sex and, maybe, as a human being. People today are stuck in religious practices, symbols & customs, and have forgotten the spiritual core - human values of compassion, friendliness, co-operation, peace of mind, joy… and a smile that is not fragile!

In a society plagued with domestic and communal violence, we need to globalize wisdom. Though we have advanced technologically, we have cared very little for the emotional and spiritual needs of people. A sense of belongingness with the whole world - rising above the narrow considerations of colour, culture or background, is the need of the hour. We are not living in isolated compartments - the world has become one family.

As a major initiative towards globalizing wisdom and fostering human values, we are hosting a three-day International Conference on Human Values from the 17th -19th of February, 2006.

This conference is a wonderful occasion for all leaders of society who are concerned about terrorism and fundamentalism. We need to look back and learn from the mistakes of the past; we need to understand what is lacking in society and how we can nurture the human values without which this earth cannot be sustained.

Knowledge and spiritual awareness should go hand in hand with social and political systems. I think religious leaders, political leaders, business establishments and social workers should get together and spread the message of unity. All religions and traditions have a common value system. These shared values have to reach every corner of the world. Even if one pocket of the world remains ignorant of these values, the world will not be a safe place. I often say religion is the banana skin and spirituality is the banana. The misery in the world is because we throw away the banana and are holding on to the skin.

I hope this conference will reinforce the vision of a one world family."

About me:

.. .. ..

The Art of Living Foundation is an international nonprofit educational, charitable, and humanitarian foundation. Our educational programs are offered in more than 140 countries around the world, and in most cases our foundation is registered as an educational non-profit organization. For example, in the United States we have 501(c)(3) status.

Inspired by the teachings of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, we share a common goal: the restoration of basic human values such as love, compassion and friendliness. We have found that by eliminating the effects of stress from the system, one enjoys more happiness, good health, and peace of mind. Service to others then follows naturally.

As a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), we work in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations, participating in a variety of committees and activities relating to health and conflict resolution. We help support the Dollar-a-Day program for children, and offer many of our programs on a donation basis. Our educational and self development programs offer techniques to eliminate stress, improve health, expand awareness and resolve conflict and have been enjoyed by more than a million people around the world.
