On Tuesday, November 9, AS I LAY DYING--NICK HIPA (guitar), TIM LAMBESIS (vocals), JORDAN MANCINO (drums), PHIL SGROSSO (guitar) and JOSH GILBERT (bass)--will release a Limited Edition Super Deluxe Fan Boxset. The package includes THE POWERLESS RISE CD and 12" vinyl picture disc, THE POWERLESS RISE DVD documentary w/in studio footage and interviews + extras: guitar, bass, & drum tabs featuring Jordan Mancino, Nick Hipa, Phil Sgrosso and Josh Gilbert, song stems for "Upside Down Kingdom," expanded recording outtakes, a hardcover book w/ lyrics, photos and editorial from the band, 12" X 12" lithograph, 3 guitar picks, mini drumstick keychain, As I Lay Dying patch, As I Lay Dying window cling and metal As I Lay Dying logo pin. Quantities are limited and once sold out they are gone forever.
AS I LAY DYING just wrapped the North American leg of their tour with All That Remains, Unearth, and Carnifex and will end the year with shows throughout Europe (dates below). Released earlier this year, THE POWERLESS RISE debuted on the Billboard Top 200 chart at #10 and marks yet another major feat for the metal band that refuses to compromise their sound to conform to the mainstream as they continue to deliver heavy and melodic music to their fans around the world. Second Seattle show added! 10/9
To all of our Seattle fans: We were just informed that due to a ticketing glitch the Friday Oct-08 Seattle show at El Corazon was oversold by 150 tickets. Since the venue is not by law able to hold this many people, and since we certainly don’t want anyone to get turned away at the door on Friday, we have decided on short notice to do a second show on Saturday Oct-09 at El Corazon. Due to the short notice, tickets will be at a reduced price as compared to the Friday show, and the venue will be refunding the $2.50 difference in ticket price to the first 150 ticket holders of the Friday show who are willing and able to attend the Saturday show. The band will be signing autographs for 30 minutes as soon as doors open and will wrap up right before Carnifex hits the stage.
