.. .... .. .. .. .. 12/03/09 - Things coming together finaly, new set partly written and well on the way to start playing some shows! In talks with Avoid The Morning about doing a joint July tour. More details on that up real soon! The new songs are sounding ace, your in for a treat this year. Musically we have came on so far since My Occasional Hero in 07 and hopefully the people who have stuck with us since day one keep coming to shows and showing support its what has kept us here!.. More news.. If you dont already know Steve is not playing bass for us anymore and has moved on to just being a vocalist. We have a new bass player Ben(Ex-I Mistook You For A Hero) taking his place which is AWSOME! New tunes are ace and we will hopefully have something fresh on here in the next couple of weeks to check out!.... P.S sorry to all those who have left comments/messages in the last few weeks and have not had replies, our broadband connection has messed up and waiting to get repaired so we will hopefully be connected again in the next week! and we have got some ace new blogs going so keep checking back!! .. .. .. .... .. .. ...."Fast Electro fueled Pop Punk band from Scotland!".... .. .. .. .. Atik Star are a 5 piece band who only really started being a serious band right at the end of 2007 with the first song "My Occasional Hero" ..With a great response within the first few months, the band began to push themselves and started playing shows mid 2007 ..With the departure of Dan in early 2008, Steve, Napz and Kelvin went on a man hunt and found, not only is it really hard not to get arrested for killing Dan, but also found their new super sexy guitarist, Graemie (who sometimes goes by the name Slash or Eddie Van Halen ), 2009 Steve drops bass and focuses just on lyrics and melodys...got new bass player in his place, Ben Ben Ben Ben Ex-I Mistook You For A Hero ..And thats Atik in a nutshell for now! .. .. .. Atik Star have played shows with bands such as: Flood of Red, Zico Chain, Ghost of a Thousand, Paige, Neversaydie, Mexico Fallz, Not Advised, Me Vs Hero and Civilised to name a few! .. ..
