  • NEXT STOP LIVERPOOL !!

    Current mood:artistic

Hello all good people . .
As you may or may not know .. I have been invited to play keyboards for SMASH PALACE. This is not only a great honor to play with these guys, but I really love their music.
We've been gigging in the Philly/ South Jersey area and the fans are diggin it.
But if thats not cool enough, we're going to the UK to do a few shows this week as well . .!! We're playing both the "Cavern" and the "Cavern Club" in Liverpool. Then we're doing an acoustic set at "the Grapes" where I'll be doing a few Baldwin Drive tunes.  As a life long Beatles fan, this is a beyond a dream come true. If you don't know what I'm talking about look it up !
Then its off to Coventry for a 4th show on the 28th . . .
I hope if you're in the area you'll come down, scream and shout, and makes us feel welcome. Be sure to introduce yourself to me and the band and we'll chat over a pint or two.
Thanks for all of your support and look for the next BALDWIN DRIVE album early next year . .

    Peace * Love * Rock & Roll . . . !!!

  • JOEY PAJAMAS LIVE ON THE HOWARD STERN SHOW

    Hey now ....
For those of you who didn't catch the Howard Stern Show this past tuesday, I was on LIVE via the phone talking with the man himself and it went GREAT !!
Howard gave the ok to have me call in to promote my band BALDWIN DRIVE's new cd, so at 6:55 am thats exactly what I did. My wife suggested that a shot of tequila would be just what I needed to calm the nerves so while I waited for them to come back from a break I slammed one down. Next thing I knew I was ON THE AIR. Howard was more than gracious as usual, and he really made me feel very comfortable as he played through a bunch of my parodies as well as some of my original bits. Now I've met most of the gang at the film festival, and I briefly spoke with Howard when I was in the studio for Artie's Blue Iris kiss, but I never had the pleasure of an extended one on one with him so this was very cool indeed.
Of course as promised Howard then played the first single from our new cd "ORANGE & BLACK" and plugged our upcoming gig @ Lakeside Lounge here in Manhattan.
All in all it couldn't have gone better. I got a ton of hits on my website and I made a shit load of new friends here on myspace .. and they're still coming in. Fantastic!!

    >>> I want to say THANK YOU to Howard Stern and the gang for all the years of laughter and for letting me be a part of the greatest radio show that ever was .. and a special shout out to Richard Christy for getting my stuff heard and played. He may be a Hillbilly Homo but I love'em just the same.
    >>> And to all of you fans out there that checked out my website and bought the cd ... THANKS for the support.
    >>> I'd also like to acknowledge all of the artist who's material I parodied. After all it was their brilliance in the first place that came up with those great tunes. I hope I didn't offend them in anyway . . . or at least too much.

So thats my story and I'll see you all on the air !! Check out the interview at www.myspace.com/joeypajamas ... ITS UP THERE RIGHT NOW !!

  • Making Noise in EUROPE !!

    Current mood:adored

Baldwin Drive's Orange & Black has just received a great review from Swissrecords !! For those of you who can .. Read it and spread the word. For those of us who can't, there's a translation on the www.baldwindrivemusic.com site .. check it out. We're working out the details for our spring European tour as we speak. See you there ......
    - Joe C.
