Is it snowing there? And did you see if the swans are still in the park’s lake? .... I can say that the swans here are chatting, laughing and swimming all day long in the Landwehrkanal and yes!, I saw the snow! Actually, I was totally covered with snow for the first time in my life! .... This month has been rich of busy weeks and exciting news! .... It started with some days of recordings together with Robert Lippok, for the New York radio station ..WFMU.. and for other new ideas (more news soon!). .... And then it went on with my first trip to Düsseldorf! I was there because I’ll create/ record/ play live the music for the brand-new theatre-dance-work by the choreographer .. Katja F. M. Wolf... As you can see in my Upcoming-Shows-list, the première will be on 4 February, 2009, at ..FFT Kammerspiele.., the work will have a run of six nights and we'll have after-show talks, too! You’re all warmly invited! .... In the meantime I’m also working on my own (first!) website, learning unknown things about apartment plants, experimenting with microphones, collecting white ceramics mini-sculptures and reading surprising books and magazines. .... I wish you a nice and warm start for the new year! Go talk with the swans! .... XO, .... Bi. .... P.S. On .. Robert’s page.. you can also listen to an excerpt of our concert at the Brighton Festival! .... - - - - - - - -.... ..Scores for fingertips on tiptoe.. is the title of my first album, which is due to be released in 2009 on ..This is it, forever.. and ..Boring Machines... It features three compositions. Two of them are contemporary music pieces: one by Raymond Murray Schafer (..The Crown of Ariadne.., where I play harp and percussions at the same time: sounds tricky? Well, it is), one by Bernard Andrès (..Élégie pour la mort d'un berger..). The final one was composed in the early 20th century by Henriette Renié (..Légende..). Don't be afraid by the drama-tic titles, they're really nice tunes! Judge by yourself (you can listen to some previews in the jukebox above) and let me know what you think about it.
