Canadian Father/Sons Rock Sensation “Braeden Marshal” Formed spring 2009. Award Winning Vocalist, Songwriter, Studio Musician and Front Man Joel Wiggers didn’t have to go far to find his band mates as they all live under one roof. Joel’s son Marshall 18 years old (Bass) is a quick study, constantly honing his skills, Marshall has worked hard to become a fantastic melodic “in the pocket” bass player. Passion and energy radiate thru Joel’s youngest son, 16-year-old Drummer, Brayden. Drumming comes so naturally from the dynamic, hard-hitting Teen. Both sons have skill way beyond their years, a result of a rich musical environment provided for the boys from the day they were born. Braeden Marshal got the rock rolling by entering the Got Pop? Battle of the bands and were finalists impressing everyone who attended, folks are still talking! “ A Great Sounding Rock Trio, These guys are going places” Andrew Roberts GotPop? Concert promotions. At the core of the band is the value of Hard Work. With daily band rehearsals and personal development time honing their 25+ Originals, the rock trio has been hailed for being so damn tight. The band has also been working hard out of the rehearsal room, killing it on stage with almost two dozen gigs and showcases in their very first year as well as the recording studio where the band has been busy recording demos and full production singles of their extensive 25 song original set list. Braeden Marshal showcased at the 2010 VIMBC. Stunning the audience and all the music industry professionals in attendance with their honest, hard rocking originals. After their performance Steven McClintock (37Records/Headway productions Los Angeles), Harlan Smith (President Royalty Records Canada), Angela Kelman (Farmers Daughter), Bob D’Eith ( Exec. Dir. Music BC) and so many others raved about the sensational Trio. WOW was a common description used by literally everyone who greeted the band as they exited the stage. Braeden Marshals exceptional talent has quickly led them to work with great performers such as Daniel Wesley, Familia, Pat Steward (Bryan Adams/The Odds), Doug Elliot (The Odds) to name a few. Braeden Marshal was selected to Headline at the 2010 AMA National BMX Championships in Nanaimo, feature showcases at the West Coast Rock Festival held annually in Cobble Hill, as well as the annual Dragon Boat Festival held in the beautiful downtown Nanaimo harbour.
