Guitars, The Cubs....Victorias secrets models, did I say guitars? I'm a huge StarWars geek....love to read....I am a beach and mountain fanatic, and love walking on/in both both...camping rocks, and my form of camping involves RV's DVD players and creature comforts....I like taking pictures, and got a bug to dabble in video with a buddy of mine named Kevin Rhoades in High School (KEVIN....CALL ME!!!!) Don't do it quite as much, maybe video'ing out antics on the road would be fun...and dangerous.Music
Everything...I'm serious...I do a lot of sessions where I have to play everything from country to jazz, and I'm a former Line6 clinician, so I gotta be up on all styles...my influences are Steve Lukather, and Brent Mason, Larry Carlton, Reggie Young...all the great studio cats who came before me....thanks for paving the way guys..I also listen to a ton of very hard to find and ecclectic stuff, like the Refreshments, Eric Johnson, and I am a huge fan of 80's music. I can't help it, I am a pop junkie. Bluegrass...fusion...there is a club in Aurora CO where I cut my teeth on jam nights playing Benson and Hendrix all fusiony...funk...love me some funk...anything that is good, I'm all ears. OH YEAH...THAT'S ME ON THE SONG THINGY.....Movies
StarWars, anything with Tom Hanks....yes, I will watch a chick flick...ok, I admit it. Next....Sci Fi stuff like Star Trek, and british humor...Hitchhikers Guide, once again, I can watch anything..I paid to see Beavis and Butthead...so I have a stupid side too. See, I figure I have an inner child...and sometimes, I like to let him run amok, and he breaks things....(kidding!!!)Television
Law and Order...all 3 of em.....The Clone Wars cartoon....Aqua Teen Hunger Force...The Simpsons and Family Guy...any show with an alcoholic talking dog named Brian has to rock! Old M*A*S*H episodes, Andy Griffith, but only the B&W ones with Barney.....and Austin City Limits. I dig the History Channel, Discovery/Animal Planet(Ask Me about the Animal Planet story)..CSI, and I totally love House....I wish we had more Doctors like him, really...Books
I think books are great for balancing out wobbly tables..I read all the Star Wars stuff(go figure...what do I think I am...some kind of Jedi?) and alot of periodicals...Guitar Player Magazine, Guitar One, Guitar for the Practicing Musician, Down Beat...I just finished Aspen Pittman's Tube Amplifier book....Heroes

So I figured I'd update this part. I'm from a small town in the foothills of NC, a kid who learned to play music and got really lucky a few times along the way. I wanna say I'm laid back, Mr. Nice Guy who remembers everyone's birthday...but it'd be a huge lie. I try to be laid back, especially in this business, but sometimes...still, it beats unemployment!
