    Sending SUNDAY LOVE Caleb!

TODAY'S THOUGHT IS ABOUT THE SOUL ...

"TRUE INTIMACY is the opening of ONE SOUL to

another. No GIFT ON EARTH could COMPARE with it,

for it TOUCHES US MORE PROFOUNDLY than our

imagination can envision. When two people SHARE

    THEIR LIVES, FREELY, OPENLY, WITHOUT

RESERVATION, it is as if EACH had BECOME

    COMPLETE ..."

A LOVING FAMILY is EVERYTHING Caleb!

TODAY'S THOUGHT IS ABOUT FAMILY ...

“NO MATTER WHAT you've done for yourself or for humanity,

if you can't look back on having given LOVE AND ATTENTION

to YOUR OWN FAMILY, what have you really accomplished?”

    ~ Elbert Hubbard

THE LOVE OF A FAMILY IS LIFE'S GREATEST BLESSING!

Tears are the unspoken language of the HEART Caleb!

TODAY'S THOUGHT IS ABOUT TEARS ...

"TEARS speak MORE ELOQUENTLY than 10,000 tongues,

    MESSENGERS of OVERWHELMING GRIEF

    and

    UNSPEAKABLE LOVE.”

THE RAIN FALLS BECAUSE THE SKY CAN NO LONGER HANDLE ITS WEIGHT.

TEARS FALL BECAUSE THE HEART CAN NO LONGER HANDLE THE PAIN.

    Hi Caleb!

In Honor of Charles "Bird" Parker.

TODAY'S THOUGHT IS ABOUT MUSIC ...

"MUSIC is your own experience, YOUR THOUGHTS, YOUR WISDOM.

If you don’t LIVE IT, IT WON'T COME OUT OF YOUR HORN.

They teach you there’s a boundary line to music. But, man, THERE'S NO BOUNDARY LINE TO ART."

    ~ Charles "Bird" Parker

Charles "Bird" Parker is hailed as the greatest alto saxophonist of his time.  He played brilliantly, but his addictions to drugs and alcohol ultimately led to his untimely death.  Charlie Parker died at the age of 34.

    Happy Saturday Caleb!

TODAY'S THOUGHT IS ABOUT HAPPINESS ...

"Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I — NOT EVENTS — have the power to MAKE ME HAPPY OR UNHAPPY TODAY. I can CHOOSE which it shall be.

Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just ONE DAY, TODAY, and I'M GOING TO BE HAPPY IN IT."

     ~ Groucho Marx

A little about the man...

Caleb Hawley has always wanted to be a professional baseball player. However, life did not grant him big muscles and outstanding eye contact. Instead, he was dealt the gift of fast fingers and massive vocal chords. After sadly realizing his circumstances, he set off to be a musician.

At 12, he learned his first Nirvana song on guitar. Due to the overwhelming response from the seventh-grade girls, he decided to learn more. First Metallica, next Pink Floyd. Then Dave Mathews or whatever else made people like him. Soon Caleb was the youngest bar hopper in Minneapolis, performing for “old people” all over the city.

A few years later, college came. He decided to head out to Boston and attend Berklee College of Music. He received a degree in jazz composition and was sent off to make a living in music, or in other words, die. He had to move fast, before his college loans got the better of him, so he re-located to New York City and in July of 2007, released his debut CD, “Greatest Hits”.

Since then he (along with his dog Fargo) has traveled miles upon miles performing at clubs, colleges, and festivals all over the country. In journey, he has had the opportunity to share the stage with the most famous of stars, though sadly due to crazy laws, we are not allowed to drop their names here on Myspace.
