Cellbound is a simplistic creation of complex chemistry and a brutally harmonious dismemberment of music. Combining elements of melodic metal to hard hitting heavy metal they are an unstoppable force that has grown a rabid fan base in their home town of Cleveland and surrounding markets. .. .. Cellbound’s sound is heavy and intense and offers a combination of modern and classic metal stylings. The two singer approach of Chris E. and Tom Herttna offers a unique blending of heaven and hell that is distinct and feeds off each other like a well oiled machine. This striking combination truly sets them apart from other bands with a similar approach. Cellbound has been described as a thrasher style with a more modern complex, a cross between Pantera and LaCuna Coil. .. .. The guitar duo of Shaun Vanek and Dave Borowske bring to the table catchy and grinding riffs along with harmonious arpeggiated solos. Gregg Baise, rides the bass strong along with Todd Alley on drums who keeps the timing powerful with double bass, triplets and blast beats. .. .. Cellbound, formed in late 2006, are making a name for themselves by performing with powerful acts such as Disturbed, Killswitch Engage, Lacuna Coil, Chimaira, Three Inches of Blood, Nightwish, Paradise Lost, Kittie, Mushroomhead, Spineshank, Suicide Silence, Crooked X, Bury Your Dead, Born of Osiris, After The Burial, Sonic Syndicate, Destruction, Ringworm, Flaw, Metal Church, Meliah Rage and also being top billing for local shows in Cleveland and the surrounding markets of New York, Detroit and Columbus. .. .. Cellbound released a 5 song EP in 2007 titled Nothing to Die For, and self released their first full length album, Fallen Angels of Sui Caedere, in October of 2008. The album features a music video for the title track, which was shot and produced by Skinny and Stitch of Mushroomhead. .. .. Cellbound is known for keeping things creative and new onstage. They perform with an unbelievable amount of energy in an intense live show that packs a punch and offers a kick-ass concert experience.
