Born in france 1970 / grown up in Polynesia, started the music by learning to play "Ukulele" at the age of 9, and then, guitar by twelve with local bands in Tahiti. In 1988, back to France for university in Marseille and joined an alternative rock band ; "Exclusivit Korps" for first professional gigs - 3 compilations and one album (autoprod), making tours and festivals. From 1992 to 1996 : Playing with cover bands (Carpe Diem) - rock and blues, revisiting all the 70's (led zep, Jimy Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, ...) And recorded an album in trio "Funky stars", under the name of "Chrislh Blues Gang" 1999. Then bored of too much energy and electricity, stoped completly to play electric and begun to play acoustic with african traditional musicicans. A collaboration with a griot from Senegal, Meissa M'BAYE (Kunta Kinte) - LP "Night in Casamance", Fremaux & ass - Nigh and day (1997), featuring Bruno ROUSSELET (ctb), Sekou DIABATE (guit), and others world and jazz musicians. 2 years of african 6/8 (Mandingue, Mbalax) to find a new bluesy and roots guitar style. In 1999, in Gabon - on a tour with a salsa band (Son del Gazo), and met Pape NZIENGUI, a Nganga (shaman Mitsogho) playing a little traditional Harp : The "Ngombi". Came back after the tour to capture a part of that traditional art, with computers and microphones. 9 months there to understand a bit of that strange and deep pygmee music and prepare two albums (Disoumba et les enfants du voyage - vol. 1 & 2). A new collaboration with Annie Flore BATCHIELLILYS has begun in Gabon - involved in her 2d album "Diboty", made in Lyon in 2001. This album was a revelation for the Gabonese and african public and won an african international award (KORA - best new african talent) in south africa - Johannesbourg / 2002. The tropicals experiences are longer, a chapter in thrugh the USA in New york, New Orleans and Memphis as well ... playing with Coco ROBICHAUX, Sonny LANDRETH who gave him his love for the slide guitar. Always searching for different styles of sound, hunting since more than 10 years, and working in many situations, not only on stage or in studio but to learn technic as well. A sound engineer, a producer needs to know basics so ... That technical period of 3 years backstage, was very positive. From 2001 to 2007 : On the middle east market as sound engineer, sound designer for special events, and music composer for shows, opening ceremonies (dubai Shopping fest 2001 / 2005 with Deep Forest) - (Dubai World Cup / 2006) - ( Jumana secret of the desert / 2006 with Omar Shariff as story teller, music produced by Mick LANARO / Jean MUSY) Actualy developping interests in Malagaschi and indian oean music, starting a collaboration with young talents from that part of the world, and developping projects with indian production companies in the traditional and world music, movie music.
