    .......... ..CHRISTOPH SIEGENTHALER.. .. (*08.01.1979) Seine musikalische Laufbahn begann im Kindesalter von neun Jahren, als er Keyboardspielen erlernte. Als Vierzehnjähriger gründete er bereits seine erste Band, mit welcher er auch erste Auftritte verzeichnete... Nach seiner Berufslehre zum Polygrafen (Mediengestalter) studierte er mit Diplomabschluss von 2003 bis 2007 Jazz-Piano bei Günter Kühlwein, William Evans und Manuel Bärtsch im Studiengang Performance und Pädagogik an der Hochschule der Künste Bern (Swiss Jazz School). Christoph nahm während seiner Studienzeit an verschiedenen Master Classes teil wie zum Beispiel bei Michael Brecker, Bruce Barth, Art Lande, Paul McCandless (Oregon), Darmon Meader (New York Voices), Ernie Watts, Janek Gwizdala, Bill Cobham, Enrico Pieranunzi und spielte mit Francois und Louis Moutin. .. Dank seiner Offenheit für jegliche Stile und Arten von Musik ist Christoph ein gefragter musikalischer Begleiter. Erfühlt sich sowohl im Jazz, wie auch in der Pop-, Rock- und Soulmusik zuhause. Er spielte zahlreiche Festival und Club-Tourneen im In- und Ausland wie zum Beispiel mit der Alphornistin Eliana Burki (Asien) oder Stefanie Heinzmann (Deutschland, Österreich, Schweiz). .. His father and his brother (both play trombone) are the only ones in the family playing music actively. At the age of nine Christoph receives a keyboard and he started to take lessons. At the age of 16, he changed to the piano. After studying commercial artist, he decided to make the music to his profession... He studied at the Hochschule der Künste Bern (Swiss Jazz School) in Berne, Switzerland, from where he earned his degree in 2007. He studied with Günter Kühlwein, William Evans and Manuel Bärtsch... Christoph attended Workshops led by Michael Brecker, Bruce Barth, Art Lande, Paul McCandless (Oregon), Darmon Meader (New York Voices), Ernie Watts, Janek Gwizdala, Bill Cobham, Enrico Pieranunzi and he performed togehter with Francois and Louis Moutin...
