    The Way.. I wanted to convey my thoughts & feelings through the songs on this album. each song stands strong alone, as they do as a collection of songs. my pen overflows with the need to connect.. and with the mic in my hand I am overwhelmed with emotion at sharing my experience's, the need to communicate all that I feel and all that I am is 'powerful' when I write..I feel pain,confusion,frustration,opinion,search,negativity,positivity love,anger,childish,sexy,political,socially impaired,victim,champion...and much more... with these emotions I write poetic & beautiful things about the life I live and how I am living it now.. without any of these emotions, I won't write anything at all. I have been blessed not only with the musical ability to share this gift, but I have also been blessed with the will and want to share this gift. This album marks 10 years of sharing with all of you out there who have been beautiful in supporting and opening your hearts to the music I create..without you there would be no me, Thankyou and bless you. The Way..is a selection of songs by Colonel Red to commemorate 10 years of releases.. Although to many Redz has acquired much of his following with BiG floor hits like 'Soon Come' 'Victim' 'It's gonna be Alright' & 'Feel the Rush' between 2005 - 2009 (during which time) Redz also released his 1st debut album 'Blue Eye Blak' including tracks like 'U gimme that Feelin' & 'Sanctify'. Colonel Red is essentially a singer & songwriter with a real lean toward mid-tempo grooves that best allow The Colonel to really sing his heart out, with songs of joy,hope,love & search all wrapped in a poetic sublime fashion..leaving the listener feeling overwhelmed with an intimate and powerful message. This selection of songs have been carefully chosen for the sensitive more deeper listeners out there, who simply want to kick back and listen to songs with a nice n steady groove,sultry vocals & profound lyrics that Redz delivers on every single song.
