Dancing Zombies is Leo C. Giacometto and Leo Conlon. DZ is based in the D.C. Metro Area and Central Florida.

Both members have been involved in music from a young age, studying classical, jazz, rock, metal and blues. Electronic music became the proverbial weapon of choice early in high school, well before Leo and Leo met. Both started out as producers, and later became djs to reach listeners interested in underground music. The two met, and initially became friends while spending Friday nights at Buzzlife Parties at Nation. Nation heads represent!

When Nation closed, and the underground scene in the area hit an all time low, the two teamed up. Forming FunKollective with two other area djs, they threw parties at local venues. The main goals of FunKollective were to provide electronic music enthusiasts with a place to party, and invite underground and local up-and-coming djs to a venue to showcase their talents. FunKollectuve was forced to shut down when both founding members moved away from the area to persue other endeavors.

Upon reuniting in the DC area, the two decided to focus on their first love: Electronic Music Production. Tired of playing other artist's music (and simply promoting those who have already become successful) they decided to focus on performing their own tracks live. Thus Dancing Zombies was reborn.

Leo C. Giacometto aka the original dancing zombies is primarily a psy-trance dj and producer. He is currently attending Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida and working towards his AS in Recording Arts, BS Music Business and Masters in Music Business.

Leo Conlon aka Xi:[oN] and [dj] Leonces is and always will be a junglist. His influences reach far and wide, from early EDM producers Daft Punk, The Prodigy, and The Chemical Brothers, to junglists like Aphrodite, the Planet of the Drums Crew, Pendulum, Dj Hazard, John B... any style of DnB, from the chillest of old school jungle to the nastiest dirty, grimey, sci-fi Techstep. Though originally and always a DnB head, he has spun Techy Electro House, Nu-School Breaks, and has a general love of anything electronic.

Dancing Zombies produces and performs variety of electronic music live. Their music is heavily influenced by drum and bass and psy-trance, though in order to redefine Electronic Dance Music as a whole, DZ does not limit themselves to the scope of any one genre. "Our goal is first and foremost to inspire, enlighten, and promote the evolution of the underground scene. The trend, even in this new and exciting digital age is to do what's been done before. We aim to do what hasn't."
