Bio:

A 28 year music industry veteran, guitar prodigy, session player, mentor and award-winning performer and producer, David Levene wears many hats. His journey begins when Dave traveled to "Peru" with his family were his father was hired to work for a multinational company; it is there were he joined the psychedelic legendary rock quintet “Laghonia” formerly New Juggler Sound. Forging a very original and unique brand of rock. They become immediate crowd-pleasers and an almost overnight success. Laghonia released two albums, Glue and Etcetera before dismantling due to personal differences. LAGHONIA is considered by many experts as the best Classic rock band to emerge from that part of the continent. A German independent record company, World in Sound, has reissued two Laghonia CD’S, Glue and Etcetera and in 2005, the German Magazine Eclipsed dedicated a full page to an interview with Dave and his experience with Laghonia. A young and energized David Levene eventually moved to the U.S. Prolific session work followed where David earned a reputation as a versatile and dynamic virtuoso. His eclectic background gave him a singular versatility, able to competently execute Rock, Blues, and Latin influenced styles with equal aplomb. Succumbing to the pressures of marriage and family responsibilities, David left the L.A. scene for Florida, eventually settling in Atlanta where he set up shop as a producer. David Levene’s “BIGSOUND PRODUCTIONS” is a professional recording studio, mastering house and artist development center of the first order. After his sons were born, Dave decided to produce a CD for children that had all the different styles of music that influenced him (Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, etc) His intent was to create a CD that would appeal not only to children, but to their parents as well. Like Dave, a lot of the baby boomers are now parents how grew up in that same era and with the same music. David just finished developing a roster of exciting new material with writing partner Juan D'Aliaga. And he is currently working with songwriting partner Dale Lawrence. The development of a publishing company and artist development facility are just some of the projects the very creative Mr. Levene has scheduled to lend his talents to in the immediate future. ..
