.. .. .. The project Daza Cominatcha was born in the city of Lisbon and its surroundings. Formed by 5 elements (drums, bass, vocals, guitar and trumpet), the bands primary goal was finding their own original sonority, with strong basis on alternative rock where brass was given a room to reveal itself. Daza cominatcha appear, initially, from Ulisses Ramoss (vocals) and Ricardo Parro (trumpet) idea of forming a serious band that would not just be another high school joke. A few months later, Alvaro Brito (drums), Sergio Fraga (guitar) and Antonio Frazao (bass) joined in, forming Suit Kills, a band where ska and punk were mixed. One year later, and after the first gigs, the band members felt the need to explore fresh sounds, and in a way, to become more daring. The will to redefine and establish new goals in music, such as the transmission of emotions with a different intensity and openness, was also growing. Suit Kills ended in July 2004 During that summer, Ulisses Ramos shared some ideas with Manuel Molarinho, bass player of LoveYouDead (a band with punk and alternative rock influences), about the will to make something new and serious, having concluded that that wish was mutual. So, by September 2004, Daza Cominatcha were formed with Ricardo Parro (trumpet), Ulisses Ramos (vocals), Sergio Fraga (guitar), Manuel Molarinho (bass) and Alvaro Brito (drums). Instantly, the work on the first sounds started, combining new creation with some old modified ideas. The composition of originals got more and more consistent and addictive and 6 months later there was enough material to worry about a very important and expected item: divulgation and recording. First came Wrinkled, or just wrinkled, a demo taped with unconventional and modest methods, in a garage where the band rehearses, with the help of a friend who studies sound production, aimed at the best quality possible, which means that a lot was tried to do with very little. Then came Needle in a haystack, the first album, recorded in Estúdios Crossover, in Linda-a-Velha, Portugal and released in June 2006 at Cabaret Maxime. After the release of the album, the first tour came - Needle in haystack England Tour. The band played around England and received good feedback from the english crowd. ..
