Jordi Saludes, producer, musician & dj from Barcelona, since middle of 90's has published various albums, eps and a long list of 12" in labels like Emi (E), Emcee (UK), Just Noyze (UK), Astral (FR), React (UK), Edel (E), Plein Gaz (FR), BcNess (E), Pulso (E), Contraseña (E) etc, with projects like Slow Bullets, Allied Force, Isla Zebra between other. He realized a dozen of remixes signed as Dwight Fried, Alien Kid or Sadako Experience, and he also appeared in a long list of compilations of various european labels................................... In 2003 he moves to London and began experimenting, under his D-FRIED moniker. His early tracks set up the basis of his style, mixing electronic textures and urban ambiental sounds with intrincate rhythms, building with ordinary noises and subtile digital melodies, soundtracks for a city travellers ............................... In 2006, back to Barcelona, he releases a couple of tunes "Broken Dreams" / "B-Movie" on the compillation "Discipline 3" (BcNess Recs) , and a year after apears as co-writer in six tracks of the Arbol's album "You travelled my heart inside out" (emilii recs/2007)................................ He also writed music for the classic german silent movie "Das Kabinett Des Dr Caligari" (Robert Wiene - 1919) and perform it on live-act in many events around the country, since his premiere at Niu in 2006. The score maximizes the dark atmosphere of the film, with dense ambient passages and broken rhythm structures, creating a tense feeling until the final climax. A sample of this, is in the new compilation "Live Soundtracks" (emilii recs) alongside other artist like Arbol, Nikka, and Lucius Works Here.............................. Between his works as a remixer: Sokif "summer", Institut Fatima "my eschbatzio", Antennasia "blue dress" (released on Lemongrassmusic) & "pegasus". ..................................... His new live show "Blindfold Surgery" in collaboration with the video artist Sandra Gonzalez, combines his latest tracks with his own video footage, under the "one shot" premise, where reality takes unexplained forms and textures without any digital efx. ............................................................................. during 2009 he released few tracks in compillations such as "Sonnersucher" (Phonocake), "Mizucake Compillation vol.4" (Mizucage), "Lost & Found" (Disboot), "Brezna Radio Essentialls 6" (Silent Flow) , and his album "Clouds Leave No Trace" on the german netlabel Phonocake. Actually he just finished an alternative score for the film "L'Anne Derniere a Marienbad" (1963) from the french director Alain Resnais, a b/w classic film of the "nouvelle vague" era, creating a soundtrack builded with strings, piano, organ, harp, celesta, and other orchestral instruments .....................................................
