We first of all want to wish Lawrence Anderson a get well soon. He has had some trying times and would have liked to make the trek to Bridgeport, but unfortunately will not be able too. Again we wish he gets well soon.
The month of May was the start of several events around the area. May 13th started the cruise-in at Godfathers Pizza and on the following Friday Night was the start of the Tower Lanes Cruise-In on 6th Ave. Both have had great turn outs with the weather cooperating quite well.
At Cowgirls Up last weekend it was announced that their car show will be on September 5th this year. That is Labor Day weekend. After breakfast several guys stopped by the shop on the way home.
The guys who were there were Bill, Bob, Jim and Ted, Curtis, Joe and if you don’t recognize the flamed coupe, check out the next page. You guessed it. Paul’s 1934 Chevrolet Coupe with fresh paint and flames by Josh Martinson. Check out those front fenders by Joe. What a difference, huh? Those who have seen it really like it and guess what, so does Paul. Lookin’ sharp Paul and have fun truckin’ to Bridgeport with the new looks.
On Friday May 29th 11 members from Tacoma, 2 from Shelton, and one from Olympia, cruised to Norma's Burgers in Lacey on Martin Way. They were Joe, Bob, Bill, Harold, George, Jerry, Kenny, Bill Wolfe, Stan, Larry, Gary, Rick, Pete, Bary, Tony from The Rat Bastards and Vic from Vic’s Place along with several spouses. It was a great Cruise through Roy, Yelm to Lacey on the back roads which were really decent. Looking forward to doing more runs like that. Anybody interested in putting together a day run like this, set it up and present it to the club.
On Saturday night, I was approached by a member of the Rat Bastards for there “Infestation 2009” on Sunday August 3oth at the Triple X Issaquah. They are looking for hot rods to film another segment for D.A. Sebasstian’s next movie. Anyone interested show up at XXX in Issaquah August 30th. More
