Dave was born to a couple that was shipwrecked on a deserted island off the coast of Australia. They made guitars out of coconut shells. He learned to sing by calling to the whales. He started to surf when he was still learning to walk. Now he has a rock band.. On his travels he met The Prodigal Sons… Alexander Carl 'The Wild Bassman',.. 'The Beatmasta' Paul Van Druten.. and 'The Northern Axeman' Paul Bradley. Drawing on all the powers of Poseidon and the Sun Gods, together they unite to create the magical sounds of Dave Jacobs & The Prodigal Sons. Formed in London in 2008, they have since been playing some of the UK's top venues including Jazz Cafe, Cobden Club, Dingwalls, Rock Garden, Halo Bar, Metro Club as well as taking part in numerous festivals throughout Europe. Recently returned to their homeland, the boys have begun gigging around Queensland and are set to share their sounds with a new audience.
