    Luke Richardson DJ profile. I love music, all sorts of music, pretty sure I always have done, and my job consists of playing it, making it, and talking about it. Brilliant! I have been DJing for at least half my life, and before my numark fuelled mission of musical expression I certainly thought about it. My biggest inspirations and my happiest ‘turn that up’ moments come from House, Jazz & Soul, also encompassing elements of Disco, Broken Beat, Hip Hop, Latin and Funk. As a DJ this makes me very versatile and able to create a unique and lively atmosphere in any venue. House through to Disco, Disco through to Funk, the night and the set moves building and twisting in a very obvious yet subtle, accessible and crowd involving way. Radio I produce a Podcast, ‘Doing Something with Jazz’, twice a month which is available on my blog, doingsomethingwithjazz.co.uk, and broadcast on SS Radio. I always enjoy the total freedom this gives me to explore the extremities of my taste and put together some often quite unlikely elements. The vibe is always feel good, laid back, low pressure and the sound is always fresh. Productions In many ways I aim for the same thing through my productions, trying to create a sound that is interesting, clean and feel good.
