    Born on the 10th of October, 1978 in the the birth place of Hip Hop, Bronx, N.Y. Since his youth he has been surrounded by music from past and current generations. He was introduced to Hip Hop at an early age, hearing it on the corners of the city. The years spent in Dominican Republic, where he lived on and off up until the age of 11, would introduce him to Latin music. Growing up to the influences of artists like: Michael Jackson, Luke, BBD, Boyz 2 Men, Naughty-By-Nature, Boot Camp Clik, Big Daddy Kane, The Notorious BIG, 2 Pac, Dr. Dre, Snoop , Ice Cube, Ice-T, Cypress Hill, JD, The Dogg Pound, Nas, OutKast, Kinito, La Banda Gorda, Menudo, and many more... This would introduce him to a world where he could create any sound he could dream up. On returning back to the states permanently, he started to study and listen to DJs like Premier, Grandmaster Flash, Clue, Juice & Funkmaster Flex. Fascinated by the way they transitioned, from left to right and 1 track to another just plain out showin' off their skills on the 1's & 2's, and everything broken down to a science; he found his calling. As he got a deeper knowledge about the roots of Hip Hop & Latin Culture he started to develop his own unique style! By age 15, he started to gather up equipment to throw parties with. Starting with 2 cd players, a JVC amp, and regular house speakers. It went well, he upgraded to 2 Gemini XL 500-II a couple years later. By this time D.J. PerKucion (Known back then as DJ Joka) moved to Orlando, FL and he started making mix-tapes, spinning at birthday parties for the neighbors, pool parties and more. Recognized for his skills and devotion, he started landing gigs at local bars and clubs, hosting and promoting numerous nights, the opportunity to work on a couple of original albums, and even started mixing and mastering tracks for local artists as well as other well known artists. With his unique methods for promoting himself & help from those who believed in him, he has achieved many great accomplishments and is looking forward to continuing to entertain the world with his skills and share his passion for music.
