A DJ and hiphop producer since the late 90s, DJ Staffro has worked with a wide range of talented hiphop artists from all around the world. As a solo artist he has released the critically acclaimed solo debut The Influence in 2002 which debuted his jazzy production style that many people compare to the 90s classic hiphop sound. After getting the thumbs up approval from hiphop legends Jay Dee (R.I.P.) and Pete Rock he knew his time wasnt wasted in the basement.

In 2002 DJ Staffro networked with Chris Craft (CEO of Shaman Work Recordings) and created long lasting connections with the talented artists of Synoptic Pressure and B.I. After the release of The Influence with Kool Kat Records, The CEO of Kool Kat Records , DJ Kool Ski asked Staffro to join forces with him to form the The Kollabo Brothers (Kool Ski & Staffro). The Kollabo Brothers released their first full length album in 2006, titled: "For My Peoples" the album featured artists such as: Diamond D, Tim Dog, Donald D, Zion I, Afu-Ra, Paris, Craig G & Grandmaster Caz. The album was also licensed to Japan by Handcuts Records and enjoyed much success worldwide.

DJ Staffro is also a integral part of Recluse Recordings, a production company based on the producers called The Recluse Crew, that for example, produced the hardcore hiphop album "The Art of Raw Sound" in 2005 with the talented emcees of Synoptic Pressure.

In 2006 the Staffro:"Influence"-album got re-released as a deluxe edition 2LP & 2CD via Kool Kat Reocrds and Staffro also produced a variety of artists from Finland to the US. A year later he finally released his first official mixtape called "Insurance" in which featured exclusive mixes and remixes. And in 2008 DJ Staffro produced a song for the critically acclaimed Braille: "The IV Edition"- album, called "Remember Your Path" ft Rob Swift. Currently the man is busy doing music production work for various international artists and focusing on DJing; live and on the radio. Hold tight and stay tuned!
