A Review from Metallum in 2007 - "The name Eden Myrrh is a reference to God and Paradise. Though the band states that they are not overly motivated by religion. The name represents how the master plan of Heaven, can take a turn for the worst when humans enter the equation". †††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††† My name is Nikko. I Welcome you! We formed the band in Jan 1991 & The 'Eden Myrrh Story' can be read (with pics) in this blog.I encourage you to check it out. It explains alot regarding the finishing of our music from 1991 - 2001. I'm looking to have the music completed by Feb of 2012. Then I'll be auditioning vocalists in Wpg or Edm. Finishing the music that Todd & I created, is simply RESPECT! There is a 'Interview' on the mp3 player regarding plans for 2012. All 3 albums will be released as the 'LOST ANTHOLOGY' which will be avaliable on May 9th - 2012. The Box set 'TIMELESS' was released on Aug 13th - 2011 and is still avaliable. This will wraps up the first chapter of the band 1991 - 2012. Once the cds are finished, I plan to start playing gigs. CHEERS!

  • Influences

    We were raised on 80s Metal. However, when Savatage came along, it hit a nerve. We didn't want to copy, but the influence to sound unique is there. Another influence would be Yngwie Malmsteen, Vinnie Moore, Jake E. Lee, Warren/Robbin of Ratt & George Lynch & Wolf Hoffman from Accept. In 1989 Todd got more into Thrash Metal, which made our Rhythms even heavier. I really appreciate the music in Jon Olivas Pain.

    Were wanting to create our own sound. Todd & myself had decided 20yrs ago, that we would make our own musical path. Nothing will change! Remember... a look is a look. When we plug in and play, you'll know its Eden Myrrh.

† NIKKO - Is one of the bands founding member. Currently all past music is being recorded that Todd & Nikko had wrote. Once the music has been completed, a vocalist will be announced. TODD`s MUSICAL INFLUENCES:

Were much heavier then mine at first. He really liked Jake E. Lee and was a huge fan of Savatage. Also when death metal came in the mid 80s, he was into the Banzai artists. As well as Yngwie Malmsteen,Vinnie Moore and of course Iron Maiden etc...

NIKKO`s MUSICAL INFLUENCES:

I started in 1977 liking Ace Frehley, then George Lynch, Robbin Crosby, KK Downing, Wolf Hoffman and Criss Oliva. I always have enjoyed Progressive Metal more than any other.
