......Brooklyn-born emcee “Saint Germain” otherwise known as “Saint” has been uniting insightful, energetic lyrics to music for over 15 years. Residing in Manhattan’s upper West Side district for the majority of his life has contributed to Saint’s cosmopolitan edge. Kicking off his rap career as a poet, Saint refers to himself as an “element ball” as he incorporates various elements into his artistic persona: “I bring joy and sorrow, and I bring intensity; music is universal and I can communicate and relate to everyone through it,” he says. From gritty to smooth, Saint executes precision and passion on his tracks. He is as particular about choosing his instrumentals/beats as he is lyrical when working with producers in outlining the type of sound he envisions himself laying lyrics to; his beat selection reveals his Jekyll and Hyde duality, yielding to the styles of the “party hoppers,” “jeep bangers” and “up-against-the-wall head-boppers” - of both men and women audiences. With musical influences ranging from Billy Joel to Teddy Pendergrass and Jay Z, it’s not surprising that Saint is so versatile. Majoring in Business Management and Marketing at Long Island University [Brooklyn, NY] has successfully tailored a perfectly packaged combination of skill and charisma, unique to this New York artist. Saint Germain is musically, multi-disciplinary: From ghost writing R&B songs for other up and coming artists, to managing his upstart, online publication THE A.U.D.R.A. CATALOG [as owner] – a publication geared to the mainstream entertainment scene's start-up companies, premier fashion lines and up and coming entertainers – the underlying purpose being to play the liaison between the industry and unexposed talent. One can’t help but wonder when this slick-talking lyricist will be signed.
