  • Bio

Nassouh Kharsa A.K.A FLATLINER grew up in a musically rich environment. His parents coming from the lebanese and syrian cultures and being the music lovers that they are, had a big influence on him, playing classics from oriental and western artists such as Fairuz and Frank Sinatra. His appreciation and passion for music continued during his early teens, collecting tapes and expanding his musical library in the early pop and rock genres. His first encounter with electronic music came in the late 90's, when he was exposed to artists such as Sasha , Paul Van Dyk, Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten. But he found his true calling when he stumbled upon the Techno/minimal genre. Later on he moved to Amman,Jordan to persue his studies, but his ambitions for becoming a DJ were stronger than ever. He met jordanian DJs Mahmoud Hourani A.K.A OHM and Ali Saadi (who would eventually become his mentor), and with their tutolage and support, his passion was firmly cemented. his relationship with Ali Saadi soon evolved to form a duo partnership behind the mixer forming the first duo in Amman.they are known as BALA RAS lining up both as himself and as part of the duo with great local and regional talents in addition to international names such as: Nic Fanciulli, Max Cooper, Traumer, WalterWall (Ministry of Sound), Mario Patrick (HEDKANDI). His influences include artists such as Richie Hawtin, Sasha, James Zabiela, Max Cooper, Extrawelt, Boris Bejcha, Gui Boratto, Spektre and many more.
