Friends For Hire (RIP) started in July of 2006. Here's what you need to know. .... Friends For Hire was started four years ago from the ground up and we accomplished a lot during that time. We did everything on our own. i.e. booking tours, doing merch, designing websites, writing songs, etc. .... In the duration of Friends For Hire, we recorded a full length in Atlanta, GA with Matt Malpass, and then recorded anything that followed at our house here in Charleston, SC. During the four years F4H was together, we had our cd's sold in Hot Topic Stores on the eastern market, shot a music video, and even got a Marketing Contract with Myspace Records. All done by us without the help of a label. We have toured and toured and one including us touring all the way out to Los Angeles and back in the winter of '08 all the way from our home on the east coast in South Carolina. We've won a few contests as well. We won The Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands contest in 2007 where we received tons of free gear. We also won a contest for a Wendy's and Myspace campaign! .... ..THE REASON FOR THE BREAKUP..: We were hitting a roadblock and we just weren't moving forward as a group anymore. Treading water can only get you so far for so long. This doesn't mean that music is over for any of us. .... Tony, Seth, and Shaun have started a new project. TBA SOON. Andrew is been writing a lot of music and Rodney is now playing drums for The Private Life of David Reed. So keep a look out for all of us. Just remember that this isn't the end for any of us. .... We would like to thank all the fans over the years for all the support. Anyone who ever came out to a show, and anyone who ever bought anything to help us get to our next show! Or even anyone who ever stole our music online and gave it to their friends. We love you all. :) .. .... Friends For Hire just released a self-titled farewell CD for the fans on July 13th 2010. It consists of lost songs and a couple new that we never had a chance to release. All recorded by ..Matt Ciclon.. at P&C Studios.
