She also wrote a movie screenplay called 'THE LIGHT'... ...She was sister to famous children's book author and illustrator, James Edward Marshall (now deceased ...He had over 80 children's books published all over the world.. ...The very first sounds she heard from the crib, was her brother playing violin and viola. He was a concert violinist prior to an injury he sustained in a bad plane landing on the way to play for a music concert outside of the United States. He also played with the Boston Conservatory of music... ...He transposed his God given talent and 160 plus IQ genuis into art, following the injury ...Some of his better known books were the GEORGE & MARTHA series, THE FOX series... ...MISS NELSON IS MISSING, and THE STUPIDS. After his death, the movie called THE STUPIDS was made. The GEORGE & MARTHA series were made into animation and the two famous hippos began to frolic as the best of friends on the HBO series... ... From the crib, she also heard constant singing from her mother Cecille Marshall (now deceased), who was a Nationally touring Soprano Opera singer until her pregnancy with Cynthia... Then, there were the band practices her Father George Edward Marshall (now deceased) had frequently. He played saxophone and clarinet... ...Her Grandmother, Father and Brother also played the piano.
