As one of Canada’s most credible young hip-hop entrepreneurs, George Reefah has built his brand upon a steadfast desire to “stand for something and have millions of people across the world follow in those footsteps.” Having been apart of the Canadian hip-hop community since early 2003, George Reefah is no rookie to the game. But what is it that makes him stand out amongst his predecessors and counterparts? Everything! .... As President and co-founder of Freshilystic Records, George Reefah’s unwavering ability to market himself as a product of his own invention is undeniable. With one finger on the pulse of the industry and the other rapped around the minds of his public, Reefah’s attention to detail and watchful eye are two of his strongest attributes. “I think that what makes me a sound solo artist is the fact that I am never satisfied. I love to create and then expand upon that creation. I am very aware and I take the time to look at the little things. If you can pay attention to and take care of the little things then the big things will take care of themselves.” .... Having worked with Major Music Productions, a large Canadian production house whose previous exports include G-Unit artists Lloyd Banks, and Mobb Deep, as well as the American production team Mass Ave. and Billboard chart topping producer Michael Grant, Reefah has already released two mixtapes [Reefalution (2003) and The Clear and Present Danger (2009)], three full length LP’s [Clear Tha Building (2004), The Campaign (2005), Steal The Show (2007)], three singles [Burn (2005), Public Service Announcement (2008), Paparazzi (2008)] and one EP, The Paparazzi EP (2008). .... But it isn’t his impressive list of releases that has people taking notice; it’s his way with words that bring them to their knees. “I’ve always been something of a wordsmith. I write poems, and stories in my downtime. This is why I consider myself an artist with great lyrical talent. My favorite artists growing up were those who were able to make their words sound good rather than using good words. I looked to the Wu-Tang Clan for this. I loved their lingo, their accents, and most importantly their flow. For this reason, it is my flow that I cherish as my greatest attribute.” .... His new single "Rollin" was released digitally May 10, 2010, followed by a series of Billboard charting singles, what Reefah refers to as “a platform for his brand,” 2010 is sure to be the year the hip-hop world is altered by a Reefalution. ...... .. .... .. .. .. .. .. .. ...... .. ...... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ............ .... ........ .. ...... .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
