Candleligh t Recor ds confi rms the signi ng of Denve r- based thras hers Havok . The band are curre ntly compl eting their debut album title d Burn which is expec ted for relea se early sprin g. The album , produ ced by vocal ist/ guita rist David Sanch ez at Dirty D Studi os and mixed by Bart McCro rey at Motal and Studi os, conta ins twelv e songs from the youth ful band featu ring guita rist Shawn Chave z, drumm er Ryan Bloom and bassi st Jesse de Los Santo s with Sanch ez.
Havokhave been impre ssing their growi ng fanba se since their forma tion in 2004. To date the band have perfo rmed along side Exodu s, Destr uctio n, Into Etern ity, Cepha lic Carna ge, and have toure d with fello w new thras hers Bonde d By Blood . Via two indep enden t recor dings , PWN 'Em All and Murde r By Metal ( both quick ly selli ng out their press ings) the band have reach ed audie nces far outsi de their regio nal borde rs. Sanch ez says of the band' s signi ng, " this is the break we've been worki ng towar d and now that it's final ly here we're more than ready to make the most of it. We are both psych ed and humbl ed to be a part of the Candl eligh t roste r." Chave z adds, " this is the begin ning of great thing s to come. We know that the work is reall y just begin ning and that the press ure is on but press ure as you know makes diamo nds."
With finaldetai ls of Burn being final ized now the band look to hit the road short ly after album relea se date.
