LA rock band Civet have announced plans to release their fourth studio album, Love & War, via Hellcat Records on February 22. Fans can check out the album's first single, "L.A. Nights," now on SoundCloud. The album will also be available on vinyl at a later date. Led by provocative sisters Liza Graves and Suzi Carmichael, Civet hold the torch once held by such groundbreaking female-fronted bands as The Runaways, Bikini Kill, L7, Hole and The Distillers, with the release of their fearless new studio album Love & War.

Echo Park based street punks Societys Parasites will release a tumultuous new album, 1753, on October 26 via Hellcat Records. A follow-up to the group's 2007 debut self-titled album, 1753 is a gritty, teeth-gnashing punk record featuring 24 malicious, pissed-off tracks about life and death in LA that clock in at a little over 23 minutes. The band charge the pit fist first with infectious aggression on songs like "Tiempos Dificiles," a break-neck punk thrasher "Life and Death" and "Politicos," which was written by Jimmy (drums) and Freddy's (Guitar/Vocals) father about the El Salvadorian Civil War that landed him in the US.

Toronto based punk rock ‘n’ roll group The Creepshow delivers an uppercut for the win on their forthcoming album, They All Fall Down, which is now available in stores everywhere via Hellcat Records. The band will kick off their North American tour in support of the release late this month.
