    ...... .. City Kid comes from a musical background, his mother played the keyboard, and his father was a dj in the early eighties. ..“There is always music playing in my house”. City Kid confesses. .... ..“Angie Stone, Luther Vandross, Bob Marley, Aerosmith, Calvin Harris, we love and appreciate all genres of music”. .. ..Growing up and listening to music everyday has been the catalyst for his success. .. ..He uses his astute musical knowledge to make each song on his album sound distinctively different. .. ..With songs such as, Back Door Creep and My Queen, he shows a musical diversity, which should not be contained. .. ..During 2008, City Kid allowed his musical ambitions, to take him to the US to record. This enterprising young man was so motivated after this trip, that when he arrived home he began to work on his next project, building himself a studio. .. ..It was after that attainment that City Kid began working on his pre album City Kidz, which he independently pre released, via download and CD, free during 2009 continuing through to 2010. .. ..With songs such as, Back Door Creep and My Queen, he shows a musical diversity, which should not be contained. .. ..Early in 2010 City Kid made the choice to independently release his official debut single ‘Follow Me ft Progression’ which received an overwhelming response. .. ..The video for ‘Follow Me’ saw City Kid work alongside Frsh Entertainment to produce one of the most eye catching unsigned music videos in the summer of 2010. .. ..In Autumn 2010, City Kid began working on his next project, the highly anticipated mixtape ‘Hot Copy’, which features the likes of Snakeyman, Pyrelli, Pepstar plus more. .. ..
