Bio:

Inserta is a post-hc band, formed in Bilbao during year 2001. We are 4 friends who come from different projects such as Elfo Negro, Los Brebes, ADHoc, Capsula, Istripu, Nothum. At the first stage the band worked as a trio, we executed a hard and atmospheric rock. The formation at that time was made up by J. Matthys (6 strings and vocals), J. de Leiden (low frequencies) and M. Hoffman (drums and plates). From that phase we put several shows on record, as well as an European tour together with the band Elfo Negro: Berlin, Paris…, a 4 song live-recorded demo "mira como suena el sol” (2003) and the collaboration in different animation shorts made by the artist from Bilbao Itziar Barrio (www.itziarbarrio.com). The 2nd era starts when we proposed M. Muntzer joining us as singer, the compositions then started having a more energetic look, with more vigorous rhythms. So once the band was defined, we started composing new songs and playing our first shows as a quartet. In October 2006 we published our first LP "Escenarios de no tiempo”, which meant a lot of shows during 2006 and 2007 through different cities and villages of the Basque Country, Aragon, France and also a Switzerland tour in March 2008. The LP has been very well received in live shows, as well as in different musical publications and press. Nowadays we had just released our second album 'Reencuentros'. 8 tracks CD recorded mixed and masterized with Xanpe @ 'Koba Studio'.

Inserta 2001ean Bilbon sortutako post-hardcore taldea gara. Gaur egun (Elfo Negro, Los Brebes, ADHoc, Capsula, Chicken & piper, Sinple, Hair to the sea, Istripu, Lumpen edo Nothum) bezalako proiektu ezberdinetan egondako lau lagunek osatzen dugu taldea. Hasieran hirukote moduan ibili ginen rock atmosferikoa eta gogorra jorratzen. garai horretan oraindik jarraitzen dugun J. Matthys (6 sokakoa eta ahotsa), Jan de Leiden (behe frekuentziak) eta Melchior Hofmann (danborrak eta txapak) geunden taldean. Orduan kontzertu pilo, gure lehenengo grabaketa ("Mira como suena el Sol"), Europatik bira bat egin (Frantzia eta Alemaniatik hain zuzen ere) eta Itziar Barrioren animaziozko film labur ezbedinetarako musika moldatu genuen (www.itziarbarrio.com). Insertaren bigarren aroa Thomas Muntzerri abeslari moduan proiektura gehitzeko luzatu genionean hasten da. Aldaketa hau musika estiloan nabaritu zen energikoagoa eta biziagoa bihurtuz. Harrezkero post-hardcorearen eremu zabaletik mugitzen garela esan dezakegu. Gure eraginak asko dira baina batzuk esan behar baditugu hauek izan daitezke: Fugazi, Dut, At the drive-in, Monochrome, Kurt, Mogway, Refused, Helmet, Anari, Bad religion, Dead Kennedys, QOTSA, Münsterland, The Hives, Bap!, Standstill, 90 day men, Keleton dmd, Ten Volt Shock, Tribute to nothing... 2006ko urrian gure lehenengo disko luzea kaleratu genuen("inserta – escenario de no tiempo – inserta records, In my Heart empire, Gure kabuz a la hil). Disko honen aurkezpena EHko, Frantziako, Espainako hainbat herrietan egin genuen eta Suitzara ere eraman gintuen. Lanak harrera ona izan du bai kontzertuetan, bai musika argitalpen ezberdinetan. Orain, gure bigarren diska luzea aurkezten dugu. Lanak 'Reencuentros' dauka izena eta 8 abestiz osatuta dago. Grabaketa, nahasketa eta masterizazioa Bilboko 'Koba Studio'etan burutu izan da Xanpe teknikari lanetan zegoelarik. Ekoizpena DDT Banaketak eta inserta Recordsek burutu du.

Inserta somos un grupo de post-hardcore formado en Bilbao durante el año 2001. Actualmente inserta lo formamos 4 amigos que han tocado o forman parte de diferentes proyectos como (Elfo negro, Los brebes, ADHoc, Capsula, Chicken & piper, Sinple, Hair to the sea, Istripu, Lumpen o Nothum). La primera etapa de la banda comenzó cuando funcionábamos como trío y ejecutábamos un rock fuerte y atmosférico. La formación de entonces la componíamos J.Matthys (6 cuerdas y voz), J.Leiden (frecuencias bajas) y M.Hoffman (tambores y chapas). De aquella etapa dejamos constancia de varios conciertos, una gira Europea junto a Elfo Negro que nos llevo a tocar por Alemania y Francia, una Demo de 4 temas en directo "inserta - mira como suena el sol – autoeditado 2003" y la colaboración en diferentes cortometrajes de animación realizados por la artista bilbaína Itziar Barrio (www.itziarbarrio.com) La segunda era comienza cuando propusimos a T.Muntzer que se uniese al proyecto como cantante. La incorporación de T.Muntzer hizo que las composiciones se dirigiesen hacia corrientes mas vivas y enérgicas, situando a Inserta dentro del Post-Hardcore. En octubre del 2006 editamos nuestro primer largo "inserta – escenario de no tiempo – inserta records, In my Heart empire, Gure kabuz a la hil - 2006" que nos dio paso a un 2006 y 2007 de numerosos conciertos por diferentes ciudades y pueblos del Pais Vasco, Aragón y Francia y una gira por Suiza en marzo del 2008. El disco ha tenido una muy buena acogida tanto en directo como en diferentes publicaciones musicales y prensa. Actualmente, acabamos de editar lo que será nuestro segundo trabajo. 'Reencuentros' es el titulo del disco y esta compuesto 8 temas. Grabado, mezclado y masterizado en 'Koba Studio' junto a Xanpe. Editado y producido por DDT Banaketak e inserta records.
