I have this feeling when it comes to life, where if you put your mind to something, maybe take a risk or two, and close your eyes when you jump in, it just might all come true. I was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho during the ripe month of May, 1990. I guess you could say I was a May baby, considering it's the season of summer, coffee, friends, campfires, and best of all, laughter. The few things I live my life by, especially considering they have yet to fail me. My family is fairly nuclear - that statement says more than you know. I work hard in school, and currently I am attending Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. If you browse through my photographs, you might pick up on the fact that I either have my camera out in the city lights of Portland, Oregon - or - the rocky mountain wilderness in Montana. I live in Montana September-May and in Portland May-September. If I have it my way until the day I leave this earth, I will never stay in one place too long. I can't say that I am one of those individuals that have the cliche "life is too short to not see the world" motto, however I do get antsy and love to travel around this mighty little blue planet. I do not live my life for anyone, and I tend to enjoy getting caught up in the things this world has to offer. Life is a beautiful thing, and without expression, the beauty would be no more. To get to the point quickly, in one lifetime you can only accomplish so much. Go to school, find a lover, have children, work your dream job, and yet it all flies by so quickly. Photography is my passion because no matter how fast the sky travels past you, or how soon tomorrow comes, the moment in time located in a photograph is stuck there forever. Whether a field of wheat blowing in time, or a drop of water bouncing in a puddle, that drop is forever bouncing and will never join that puddle. It shall always remain there, suspended in time, thus making it the most beautiful rain drop ever. -
