Bio
The Jamestown Mercantile has been in continuous operation since its opening day in 1903. Altough it has changed owners many times through those years, it has always functioned as the town's gathering place. It has welcomed and fed miners, cattle barons, stagecoach passengers, painted ladies, community leaders, horse thieves, rustlers, tourists, townspeople and bicyclists. Joe Howlett, the proprietor at this time in the Merc's history, welcomes you and asks only that you Share and Enjoy! -
Members
The Jamestown Merc has live music on Thursday Nights (7:30 until 10:00) and Saturday Nights (8:00 until 10:00). Friday Afternoon Club is hosted by Trevor every Friday (5:30-7:30). All shows are free and all ages! -
Influences
Though The Merc's musical roots begin with bluegrass, we welcome all genres of music. We have had everything from Adrian and the Sickness to Boulder Acoustic Society. Our community is diverse, welcoming and ready to dance! -
