  • New 2010 CD Project

    Current mood:eccentric

    Have everything lined up to begin the recording process for my new CD, which I hope to have out in April. I have written several original songs that will be included on this new project. The studio is booked for March 4, and I am bringing in some of Nashville's finest session pickers, to start laying down the tracks. We will go back in a week or so afterwards and cut final vocals. March is going to be an exciting month, and I will be anxious to share some of the finshed product with you soon.

  • Song "Luther For Attorney General Now"

    Well after several revisions and mixes, we finally have the Luther Strange Campaign song finished, and ready for debut. The song was written by Jeff, for Luther's upcoming 2010 bid for Attorney General of Alabama. The song will be unveiled on July 23rd, at his North Alabama Campaign Kick-Off Rally, in Decatur, AL.

    Jeff & The Old Barn Band were given high praise and strong recomendation's from Alabama Governor Bob Riley and his staff, to be the band Luther needed, to get behind him, and write him a campaign song, along with playing some of his campaign rally event's.

    We will add the song to our playlist here after it's unveiling. Keep checking back!!!

  • Opening for Charlie Daniels

    Well, talk about and honor. We have been selected to return again this year to the Whistlestop & Rocket City BBQ Festival and open for the Legendary "CHARLIE DANIELS". Man it don't get much better than this. This years event will be held again in downtown Hunstville, AL on May 2. We will play at 5:30pm that day. So tell all your friends, and get out early for a good seat, if you can even get a seat.
