Die Vielseitigkeit seiner Produktionen und die immer wieder überraschenden, unkonventionellen Ideen, die er im Studio einbringt, sind sein Geheimrezept. Zusammen mit anderen Visionären , wie zb. seinem Produktionspartner, Voltaxx oder auch Pierce & Khetama, arrangiert und produziert er bis spät in die Nacht, reizt bei seinen Produktionen alle Grenzen der elektonischen Musik aus. Jens bereicherte die Dancefloorszene mit bis dato über 300 Produktionen, die alle seine unverkennbare Handschrift tragen. Over the past 20 years, Jens Lissat has been one of the biggest names on the German club scene. Insiders even gave him the nickname 'Godfather of Techno' because of the huge influence he had on the Techno scene in the '90s. His extraordinary career began in 1979 in Hamburg during the early days of disco music. He started collecting records, taught himself to mix and played in all the top locations at that time. In 1987 he released his first record which was simultaneously the 'first' German House record. The track was called 'Work The House Sound'. In 1990 he created one of the biggest selling techno anthems ever 'Who Is Elvis' with his partner Ramon Zenker. During that same period, they launched their own label 'No Respect Records' which went on to be one of the biggest techno labels of its time. From then on Jens played at raves and in clubs around the whole world - Mayday, Loveparade, Tribal Gathering, Nature One...just to mention a few. Over the years his success story continued with tracks like: 'der Erdbeermund', 'Offshore - I can't take the power', 'Interactive', 'Dildo', 'Amok' and 'Forever Young'. All-in-all he has released more than 300 productions so far!.. .. Jens is also one of the names behind the duo Lissat & Voltaxx. Under the name of Lissat & Voltaxx hide no others than the well known producers Jens Lissat and Marco Wolters. They already worked together for several projects over the years. Since 2006 they release under their alias "Lissat & Voltaxx". Their tracks are released on trendbreaking labels like Toolroom, 303 Lovers, Hotfingers, Sneakerz Muzik and Ministry of Sound. The "L & V" style varies between Tech House, House, and a touch of progressive. 2008 was a very succesful year for them, as they remixed the No.1 UK song "Silence" by Delerium, which also hit the top 10 charts in over 8 countries. The biggest success 2008 was in september, with their own track "Release yourself"! The track hit No.1 position at several digital platforms. 2009 was a good year as well, they did some hot remixes for Roger Sanchez, Tom Novy, Stefano Noferini, Nick Bridges, Austin Leeds and a lot more! Their own track on Eric E's label Sneakerz Muzik and the two releases "Sunrise Over Mali" and "The Music And Me" on Toolroom's "Leaders Of The New School", were in most of all DJ playlists around the globe! The Remix of Stefano Noferini's track "Burundi" was even in the David Guetta Beatport Top Ten (December)... .. For 2010 they start on Manuel de la Mare's and Alex Kenji's implant "303Lovers" with an essential tune called "8 Days In Kazintip" which is was top 10 again in the Beatport House Charts, and they also just released their Toolroom/LONS called "High & Horny" with an impressing remix pack. Their Remix for Tomcraft's "Loneliness" also had just made it into the top 10 Beatport charts. They just released remixes for Saeed Younan, Hoxton Whores, Andrea Roma and Peter Rauhofer vs. Lula are already on the playlists of most global player djs! Currently their new Toolroom/LONS production "Et moi" is another Beatport top 10 banger and soon Lissat & Voltaxx will mix the forthcoming Album for Toolroom/Leaders of the new school! The remixwork is in full progress as for example the new Manuel de la mare & Paul Thomas on John Aquaviva's implant "Definitive Records" and D-Unity's new track and more to come.....! Also in the pipe are collaborations with DJ Chus, Manuel de la Mare & Stefano Noferini ! .. ..
