This band doesn´t exist. It´s just a illusion in my head. .. .. Usually I´m the leadsinger and rythmguitarist in the greatest band in the world, Lashing Patsy. The idea is to use this space for songs that didn´t make it through the Lashing filter and to present simple recorded covers of my musical heroes. .. .. These 3 songs are recorded before the birth of Lashing Patsy. They are very simple recorded with a little help from my friend Martin Bauer. They are all from an era when I was into Syd Barrett, George Harrison and Robyn Hitchcock, I think. .. .. Distorted View where recorded back in 1998 in Mr Bauers livingroom with a drum-machine, Martin on slideguitar and Tommy B on bass. .. .. While my sitar gently sweep is me trying to master the sitar. This time we were using a little studio. Mr Bauer produced the song and worked out the tabla problem. .. .. Perfume in bloom is recorded in the same studio as the sitar song. It´s a silly little tune close to the Barrett universe. Here I use my god friends in Renaissance Street for backing voclas. I think we were trying to create some sort of Monty Python madness at the end. Martin where producing even this song. .. .. While my sitar and Perfume where both recorded in 2001. .. ..
