    I'm a serious amateur picker and songwriter. Love all the rootsy stuff--old Country, blues, swing, gospel, old time, bluegrass. Especially dig the border areas between genres: Cajun/country, blusey country, Tex-Mex. That said, I'm a sucker for a good pop song, having been raised on The Beatles, The Beach Boys and Smokey Robinson. I discovered the songwriting muse later in life .
