( Here's a sneek peak ) .... The 2009 Bounce Showdown winner Justin Blais is back to sweep the nation with his second single "You & Me". After great success with his first single "Some Kind of Beautiful" this young new artist is ready to continue to sweep the country with his newest single. Justin has been working with the Hipjoint Productions songwriting and music production collective. Together they created his two first English-language singles "Some Kind Of Beautiful" and "One Night" that were written and produced by Mike James and Troy Samson. .... Blais was named the "CHUM Emerging Artist" for October 2009 and "Some Kind Of Beautiful" received airplay on the company's stations, as well as some of its competitors, across Canada. The R&B-based pop song with electronic instrumentation is being followed by another up-tempo, danceable pop number titled "One Night." Justin was sent back to the Hipjoint studios in November to record two new singles "You & Me and "7 Days". All of his singles are now available on Itunes. .... "I'd love to record an album, but we're going to wait and see if there's more interest from record companies first," explains Blais, whose voice has been compared to Timberlake, Maroon 5's Adam Levine and Jamiroquai. "I'm signed with Hipjoint Music and Universal Music for digital distribution right now". Alberta has about 30,000 francophones, so Blais also wants to tap into the much larger French music business in Quebec and is working with people in Montreal to help achieve that goal. .... While Blais may be a relative newcomer to the music industry, he's already come a lot farther than he ever expected, and prospects look good that he'll continue to move forward with a big "bounce" in his step. In the last few months his first single "Some Kind of Beautiful" was picked up by "Abercrombie & Fitch" and has been added to the playlist that plays in their 1200 stores around the world. Justin’s second single single "You & Me" was featured in a new Disney Tv-movie called "Harriet the Spy". "I never ever thought that I'd be singing because in high school I was a drummer and too shy to sing," concludes Blais.
