Hi there! Welcome to my Myspace page. Drums have been a way of life since the age of 11 (although my parents thought it was a phase and I didn't get my first kit til I was 15) when I began to listen to heavy rock bands such as Metallica and Iron Maiden. After around 7 or 8 years of playing classic rock covers I decided that I wanted to: 1) play original music and 2) go in a more technically challenging direction. I had started listening to Dream Theater and Rush and I had become obsessed with odd time signature playing within songs where I could express more musicality/virtuosity. Mike Portnoy, Steve Gadd, Neal Peart the great Billy Cobham, Vinnie Colaiuta and Stuart Copeland have had the most impact on my playing style.

I have a few bands that I'm working in at the moment including: The Texan and UK based Progressive-Metal Band "Eumeria" which I joined in October 2009 with the amazing Reece Fullwood, Jonny Tatum Bobby Williamson and shawn Kascak. I am also the drummer and a songwriter in the Gothic Rock/Metal Band ANUBIS with the fantastic former Budgie Guitarist Simon Lees and the amazing Sarah Co'Burn and Pete Williamson. Finally but not least I am Drummer with the awesome UK guitarist Lucky singh in the 7 Band performing numbers from his solo album 7 and our collaboration Project 8105!

2010 has been a very busy year so far The New Anubis Album "Waking The Dead has been released in March to critical acclaim. Eumeria's debut album Rebel Mind is set to be released later in the year and will now contain a full set of drum tracks performed by yours truly (an honour to be sure)! Also Ravenfalls a project long in the works (around 14 years lol) where I feature on drums with fantastic vocalist Rob Clutton and Lucky Singh on guitars and bass, will be releasing its debut album sometime later in the year (more to come on this soon).

Live shows for this 2010 include the Wyeside Festival (w anubis), Shire Fest (w anubis) Sonic Rock solstice (w anubis) as well as a few dates with the 7 Band (tbc) Also keep your eyes peeled for some Eumeria dates soon!

I have also contributed session drum tracks to some up and coming artists - In Touch and Mike...(what's his last name lol)...from the local Telford band Usual Suspects.

I am also a graphic artist and design album covers and flyers etc. Work this year includes the "Waking The Dead" album and up and coming Rock Band Envy Of The State's debut release "Soundtrack For Your Life" So if you're band need a cool album cover, logo or design, please get in touch.

I guess that means I can leave you with the immortal words: kick back and enjoy the tunes on my page.....more coming soon!
