Killah Bee aka killer bee is the MC of : 220 (Deux-cent-vingt in French, dus-ova with the french pronounciation) sound system aka Two Twenty sound aka Electric sound was born in 1999 in a french town called Caen(Normandy)...Also consisting of Supa Dee, EddyMoney, & Selecta Julian , 220 sound travelled the whole France with their selections and killing dubplates pleasing the people by playing reggae/ dancehall /hiphop /soca music. .. They performed alongside the best french artists and international artists such as Junior kelly, Jah mason, Turbulence, Israel vibration, The Gladiators, UB 40, Jamalski, General Levy, Reggie Stepper … .... Each & every day, they work for music by promoting shows, playing on the radio, releasing mixtapes and cutting dubplates. .. After 5 years of hard work, they got rewarded with the 2004 French champion title. Du 2 au 10 octobre 2010 se tiendra la dernière édition de la Semaine de l’Education à la Paix.
En effet, cette semaine d’Education a été inspirée par la déclaration de l’ONU stipulant la décennie 2000-2010 :
« Décennie internationale de la promotion d’une culture de la non-violence et de la paix au profit des enfants du monde »
En Nord Pas de Calais, la journée de lancement aura lieu à Arques, samedi 2 octobre, avec la création d’un « village de la paix » où un grand nombre d’associations et autres structures seront au rendez-vous pour présenter leurs activités.
Depuis de nombreuses années, des activistes de la scène reggae régionale, s’inscrivant dans la tradition des sounds systems jamaicains et anglais, écrèment les bars, les salles de concerts, les festivals, les radios pour diffuser un message de Paix, de Respect, de Tolérance…
Après la Condition Publique de Roubaix en 2009, I Bingi Sound, sur le Community Sound System, s’installera, dès 14h, sur la Grand Place d’Arques, pour partager un moment musical accessible aux petits comme aux grands.
