The journey of Kitsune Art begins in late 2010, when Jose (guitar), Jonathan (Drums) and Fernando (Guitar) decided to join together to create a new group. Started rehearsals in local premises for only a few hours, and soon saw that there was a high degree of mutual understanding and that the ideas came fluently, then decided to look for a bassist and a singer that were able to keep up to those feelings. Shortly after beginning the search came Carlos (Bass), quickly adapting and providing great ideas at a technical and composition level. On the other hand, there were many singers that came by without leaving any trace, and it was not until mid 2011, that we consolidated as a group with the entry of Alexander as our lead singer. After much rehearsal on local premises and a modest record with the purpose of orienting the sound of the band, we decided to start showing up at concert halls in Madrid, such as Silikona, aLive or Joy Eslava, getting like that the attention of many people due to our unmistakable style that moves between several genres such as rock and alternative metal, also wining a 3rd place in the Best Artist Revelation (Joy Eslava), having been selected from over 100 groups nationwide, and competing against pop-rock groups at its majority. In February 2012, we start the recording of what would be our first EP in The Metal Factory Studios. The recording, producing and mixing will be handled by Alex Cappa in The Metal Factory Studios (Vita Imana, Inntrance, As my world burns…), and sent to France for mastering by Brett Caldas – Lima in Tower Studios (Angela Gossow, Cynic, Megadeth, Devin Towsend Project, Sacred reich….) At the moment Kitsune Art is facing what could be with no doubt its best year to make it self known.
