I am a Drummer/Percussionist who is driven, passionate, and devoted to a life of music. I recieved my first set of drums at age ten. Raised on the raw sound of the 60's and 70's, my father had me beat the skins to a couple of Pink Floyd Tracks and that is when I found my passion. After studying the rhythm of such greats' like John Bohnam, Nick Mason, Neil Peart, and Denny Fongheiser(Too many to really list), I joined up with a local rock band at the age of 14. I furthered my skills playing parties and the many stages on the beaches of Long Island. Who knew that the extensive set list covering the great Rock,Metal,and grunge acts of the 80's and 90's would have such a profound impact, and further more, lend me the huge oppurtunity to play on of the biggest stages on Long Island, The Bald Hill Amphetheatre. This would developed A serious addiction that no drug can ever be compared to. Relocating to the South would lead me down the next path of my musical acquisition. I continued my studies in Jazz, Fusion, Latin, and African Drumming while attending Winthrop University. I would continue recording and performing with several different bands, widening my versatility. Playing shows across the South East would provide me with great training on improvisation, showmanship, and of course the Business aspect. I have had the oppurtunity to work with many talented Musicians' always picking up something new along the way. I have also had the great priviledge to open in front of several National Acts such as Three Doors Down, Lynard Skynard, Shooter Jenning's, Dilanna, Powerman 5000, and Flyleaf. With so many diverse experience's, I am drummer who can offer many different attributes. Professionalism is key in anything, and an open mind has never hurt anyone. I believe it takes a good song to make it, but it takes a "great song" to become a timeless one, and who woudn't want to stick around for awhile if they love what they do.
