With a bunch of brilliant songs and a clear vision of an expressive and explosive style the rock ’n’ roll couple Johan Hammarsten and Anna Rosander gathered four other musicians during the latter part of summer 2005. After a while a natural unit had been crystalized, a group of colorful people who wanted to express something with their music and style. ..Lashing Patsy.. saw the light of day. In the winter of 2006 the CDR EP "Threesome Fun" was recorded by The Ark keyboard player Jens Anderson. During that year the band also did several gigs in Sweden and Denmark. .. .. In the fall of 2006 they began to record their first album and once again they decided to work with Jens for this project. The debut "The Nightclub Trophies" was recorded during one year and it mixes the catchy guitar-layered rock of Franz Ferdinand and Editors with the delicate pop melodies of Blondie, but without trying to imititate neither one of those bands. .. .. -
