Bio
We’re not your typical poets. Last Call Poets, a new spoken word collective from Toronto, can best be described as beer-soaked brash poignant troubadours. Coming from all corners of the city, Last Call Poets bring myriad perspectives and styles into one group, making their poetic performance unlike anything Canada has seen before. Last Call Poets are: Valentino Assenza, Kevin Fortnum, Amanda Hiebert, Krystle Mullin, Dave Silverberg and That Brown Bastard. .. .. .. .. ...... Special Thanks go out to ..Cynthia Gould.. from ..ihaveasecret.com.. for filming and posting the footage. She also designed our CD Insert. Amazing!.... .. .. .. .. .. .. -

Dear Last Call Poets !
Shame I haven't yet had the time
To let you know what, to us, matters :
Here's who we are, in a few words,
Or should I say, in a few letters ...
"Le Slamophone is a tribute
To this one lesson we've been missing
To these slam poets who remind us
To get along, we need to listen ..."
