    Canadian songwriting duo Lester formed in 1998. Made up of musician/producer and all around workhorse Brian Carson and prominent West Coast DJ /producer/David Hasslehoff look alike, Scott Arkwell AKA DJ Vinyl Ritchie. Lester's music has been described as "downright filthy, primetime block rockers" by Jockey Slut magazine. DJ Freddy Fresh says "[Lester] definitely have the funk" and included them on his 'Abstract Funk Theory' compilation for BMG Europe and his 7" 'Howlin' USA'. Lester is on compilations for U.F.O. from Japan, Stuff Magazine, Wall Paper Magazine, The Conran Shop in Paris, Milan Music in Paris, Xocoa chocolate/cafe in Barcelona, Brickhouse in Germany and Clubstar in Germany just to name a few. With countless exclusive white labels killing the clubs, two releases on Skeewiff's Jalapeno Records (London) and a second full-length album to be released in 2006, Lester are layin' down their musical manifesto.
