We've recorded these songs roughly over the last year. Many hours rehearsing, writing, the pub, playing live in London's finest establishments, rehearsing a bit more....and obviously recording, often on odd sundays playing the songs pretty much live. The Breakfasts have taken a few knocks - we had quiet a few really great things lined up, and it seems almost as if there is something out to stop us!! Mainly that bloody american writers strike!!!
We've dusted ourselves off and have started working on new material - we've spent a long time writing a perfecting our songs, we really love them and it seems alot of you do to! (which always makes us happy)... we've definitely got our "pop' hats whilst working on these new songs but they are without doubt something new: not your traditional breakfast in bed....
....because we're proud of our songs, we want you to listen to them again and again - and some of you wanted to have emilys in soho for train journeys and car rides. emilys in soho was recorded at a rehearsal in one take, so its live and dirty. Filth is good right? like eating bad food when you keep telling yourself your going to start cutting back.
