sorry i just realized you had a blog about this.
what products would you recommend to achieve a deep violet hair color like this?

- Kiki Espinda2 years ago
you could also add the Magenta Vivid to it to get a more Violet color...

I like using Pravana Vivids. They last long and when they wash out they become more vibrant before fading. But will eventually fade since it is a Semi-Permanent Color. However, if you reapply, you will be fine. Just bleach up your hair to at least a Pale Yellow stage in order for the color to show. The longer you leave it, the richer the color is...
here is a sample of the Pravana Vivid in purple...2 years ago

hello.. my question for hair is.. well i have wavy to curly hair.. it gets oily quick and even without any hair product.. could it be my shampoo?.. even thou am always changing since my hair gets oily.. what kind of shampoo and conditioner should I be using? and why does my hair get oily when it doesnt have any product in it?..
ugh! lol- Kiki Espinda2 years ago
Try Paul Mitchell's Tee Tree Special shampoo. It is a clearifing shampoo. It will clean your hair and take out some of the oil as well as treat your scalp.

Hi there, again! hehe
I'm having shampoo/conditioner issues. I started using biosilk a few months back(not sure if u've used it or are familiar with it), and it worked so well for my hair. Besides the fact that the conditioner is really runny, my hair was shiny, smooth, and basically look and felt healthy, but after about a month or so i started noticing that it was giving me dandruff(sp?). I've hear people complaining about itching and stuff with dandruff, but i didnt have that problem, for me it was just those annoying flakes when i parted my hair to the side or the middle where ever. I stopped using it but i havent found a shampoo my hair reacts to as well as it does with biosilk.
My question is, does the dandruff mean drop the shampoo/conditioner and keep searching, or is there something i can do besides the shampoo and conditioner that will help "keep the scalp happy"? - ♥CryStal3 years ago
WHAT SHAMPOO DO YOU USE?? AND WHICH DO YOU RECCOMEND FOR DRY HAIR??

a few questions in one..
how do u do the inward roll in your "work for fun" album(second page). do u roll it in sections? and how do u get that tucked in look with hair on the front of the roll.
also, how do u tease you hair and get that smooth non ratted looking height? - Xochitl M3 years ago
I actually liked them a lot, but no one else did. Just about everyone said they just didnt suit me, and the guy who cut my hair made them so uneven. I had to straighten them out and curl them in to hide the fact that they were so uneven. After looking at the site you referred me to, it turns out short "bettie" bangs arent made for my face anyways...
Its so hard to find anything that "suits me" since my son was born(baby weight sucks). I've tried doing the small tube like roll and liked that a lot, but I think I'm gonna try cutting it short, and curling the ends up like one of the pictures you have.

any specific tips on hiding it?

Awesome! I like how the site has actresses to show actual face shapes, and hairstyles.
What do you think about widows peaks? - Xochitl M3 years ago
Hi!
I have a sort of boxy shape to my face, but after my second baby my face just puffed up like a balloon and I'm thinking its nothing a good hairstyle/cut couldnt help until i lose the weight. My hair is just about at mid back with front layers(the shortest one is a little under my shoulders, so also pretty long). I remember you once told me i should cut them so they would frame my face, but since my face is a lot rounder, I'm wondering if cutting it this way now will only make my face look rounder... any advice? - ♥3 years ago
I wanna dye my hair but I'm worried about it's long term affects on my hair. Is it true if i begin dyeing my hair when I'm older it will be all thin and fall out? If so is there anything i can do to prevent that.
THANKS!!- Kiki Espinda3 years ago
dyeing and bleaching has nothing to do with your actual hair growth. What happens to your hair when you get older is more genetic.

But I was wondering.....
How can I get my skin to look flawless during a shoot without having to worry about compact, liquids or using mineral?
I have heard that using minerals is save but I'm not sure and I don't really want to risk it.
So do help me :-)
hi there, I was wondering... Not sure if u can answer this question, but what do u recommend to keep your skin tone even. I swear I am 100 different tones from head to toe. My chest and face are usually the lightest, but my arms are quite darker, my stomach is in between, and my legs are quite tan for some reason(i dont really wear shorts or anything). I tan very very easily, literally 5 minutes in the sun and ill already start the tan lines, but i still never end up with an even tone anywhere..
i looked into dermalogica, its a lil pricy for now i definately want to try though.
do you reccomend the mac green gel cleanser, and oil control lotion??
for oily skin.
ps. i stopped using toners and stuff alone and it made a difference in the oilyness of my skin.
thanks
WHAT MOISTURIZER, CLEANSER, DO YOU RECCOMEND FOR OILY SKIN????
your makeup is sooo amazing!!! i LOVE the pin up/vintage look and need to know what you use for that look.. right now i am using studio tech from mac and i need some tips on what i should use for blush color and lip liner and lipstick... i have very pale skin, and im not sure what shades of red would be best for that. i have worn red lipstick before and i have a hard time with it bleeding, im sure im just not doing it right.. also what eye liner to use.. ANY tips you have would b great!! :)
i would love to answer all your questions... but please copy and paste it in the makeup blog instead of the skin one...
i have a question i wear nw15 in studio fix but ive noticed that they have been changing the ingridient on the makeup because when put it on the powder seems to absorb around my nose and above the lip area and the foundation sometimes changes depens what mac store i buy it from some times it's lighter and sometimes its darker wuts up w that?
i use mac powder but ive been trying not to use it because it comes right off. i tried using neutrogena oil control and there make up products but that still doesn't stay on.
i have really oily skin my face make up never last. do u have any advice for that?
what kinda of face make up do you put on?
