Education is powerful. It is empowering. Through Lovecrash NFP, we hope to do just that: empower others so that they can help themselves and help others.


What is Lovecrash NFP?

Lovecrash is a not for profit business whose main purpose is to provide funds and resources to those in need. We desire to empower people who have shown a desire to help themselves and their community. Currently, our main focus is providing scholarships to hard-working students who would otherwise be unable to attend school. By the 2008 academic year, we will be launching our first college scholarship in Nanning, China.

Unlike many other NFPs, Lovecrash does not achieve its aims by relying on financial donations. Lovecrash internally funds its projects with the revenue generated from its apparel sales. We are self-funded and self-sustaining. Lovecrash can achieve this because every shirt is built from the ground up, in house. We create the art and design of each shirt (we use donated art too, by the way!). We purchase our shirts directly from wholesale manufacturers and screen print each shirt by hand. Finally, we market and sell the clothing ourselves through this website or at events we participate in.

Our work began as a senior capstone seminar project at Greenville College in Spring 2007. The assignment given to all graduating seniors was to create a project that would address the problem of poverty in an integrative way. We took the assignment and ran with it, investing all the time, money, and energy we could spare.


What can you do to help?

You can spread the word to others about what we are and what we are about! Posting links to our website (http://www.lovecrash.org) from your personal page is a great way to help us to reach others. You can buy a shirt. You can buy two shirts! If you happen to find yourself in an interesting place or situation with your Lovecrash shirt on, take a picture and email it to us (lovecrash@gmail.com) and we'll post it on our website. It'll let us and others know where our message and product is reaching to.

If you are good at graphic design, help us out by donating artwork. If we end up using your design, you'll get a free shirt from our current lines. If you have friends who are graphic designers, let them know! We will provide links to our designers' sites and email addresses on our webpage as another token of our appreciation.
